About Us

Who We Are

Texas Pediatric Specialties and Family Sleep Center is a multi-disciplinary private practice specializing in both pediatric medicine and adult medicine. The current sub-specialties are pediatric pulmonology, pediatric neurology, pediatric sleep medicine, and adult sleep medicine. In the future we will be adding other specialties to complement our current services.

Founded in 2009, we are affiliated with many hospital systems in San Antonio – North Central Baptist, Methodist Children’s Hospital, Nix Healthcare, and Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. Sleep studies are typically performed at Academy Diagnostics, as well as other sleep labs in town. We offer a variety of clinical locations for your convenience. Our main location is Shavano Park. We rotate to satellite regions in Alamo Heights, Lockhill-Selma, and New Braunfels.

Our commitment to you is to provide both quality and exceptional care, to be experts in our fields and provide you with resources for education and best practice in care.

Our mission is to manage your illness as it affects your personal functioning, day and night. We are family oriented and believe our overall interaction and reputation within the community affords you and yours’ comprehensive care. Our practice specializes in:

  • Pediatric Pulmonology: Asthma, premature lung disease, chronic lung disease, cough, exercise difficulties, vocal cord dysfunction, and chronic ventilator management.
  • Sleep Medicine: Snoring, sleep apnea, daytime sleepiness, insomnia, fatigue, and restless leg syndrome.
  • Pediatric Neurology: Seizure disorders, headaches, ADD/ADHD, tics, and cerebral palsy.

Some of our special services include partnering in the community to provide education to schools and their nurses to be “asthma” friendly. We participate in the Specialty Clinic at Methodist Hospital which provides a comprehensive, multidisciplinary continuum of care approach for children with special needs and disease processes. Our pulmonologists are Assistant Professors of Pediatrics with Baylor College of Medicine/Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.
