About Lesley Vernor, CPNP

Lesley Vernor, CPNP, brings more than two decades of nursing experience to her role at Texas Pediatric Specialties and Family Sleep Center. She is a valued part of the pediatric pulmonary team and enjoys helping families in the Alamo Heights, Shavano Park, and Lockhill-Selma areas of San Antonio and New Braunfels, Texas, navigate serious medical conditions. 

A lifelong learner, Lesley began her studies at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. From there, she completed her nursing degree at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, where she remained to complete a master’s degree in nursing and nursing education.

Lesley sought out additional training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, and became a certified pediatric nurse practitioner in 2004. Since that time she has completed specialized training as an asthma educator. 

Among Lesley’s areas of professional interest are sleep disturbances, urgent care, childhood nutrition, and working with NICU graduates. She works in the community to fight childhood obesity and help kids manage their asthma through weight management.  

A passion for sharing her expertise with the next generation of healthcare professionals inspires Lesley to engage as a mentor for other nurse practitioners. She also works with schools, community groups, and other medical professionals to enhance health and wellness among children in Texas and beyond.
