Biography

Lesley Vernor’s diverse nursing career spans over 20 years. She has been a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 2004. She is an integral part of the pulmonary team which ensures quality care. Her main focus has been in Pediatric Pulmonology, specializing in asthma management and other pulmonary needs, including allergy, GERD, care of the premature infant, sleep disturbances, as well as acute illnesses, including cough, pneumonia, URIs, and asthma exacerbations. Lesley also provides guidance to ensure patients are healthy and fit with nutritional counseling. She spends her free time working with a non-profit agency for a city-wide initiative to prevent childhood obesity, as well as serving on the local Pediatric Nurse Practitioner board. She also spends time educating in various capacities to area schools and colleagues, as well as mentoring future PNPs year-round. Lesley is a valuable member of our team and available daily for appointments for the care of your child’s pulmonary needs, including same-day emergency pulmonary needs.
